147th Walcha Show, 8-9 March 2024

The Walcha Show will be officially opened at 6.30pm Friday 8 March by Jason Strong, who was a Walcha ‘boy’ and until recently the CEO of Meat & Livestock Australia. Jason will be around on Friday to help with the junior judging and Saturday to award some of the livestock prizes, judge a few classes and generally enjoy our Show.

111th Wallamba District Show, 9 March 2024

So, what's on at the 2024 Nabiac Show? Woodchopping – the chips will fly as the title holders race against each other and the clock. DONK (de Olde Nabiac Klub) featuring engines from yesteryear.

Camels on the Darling Downs?

The success of the Scenic Rim’s Summer Land Camels at the Sydney Royal Cheese and Dairy Show might be encouragement for some farmers on the Downs to start thinking about adding a few camels to their livestock herd. The Champions of the 2024 Sydney Royal Cheese and Dairy Show have been just announced with Queensland’s Summer Land Camels taking home Gold for the Camel Milk, Silver for the Camel Milk Persian Feta, and Bronze for Camel Milk Powder.

128th Tallangatta Show, 8-9 March 2024

The Tallangatta Agricultural & Pastoral Society Inc welcomes you to the 128th Annual Tallangatta Show! Tallangatta show is family fun time, with free entertainment for the children, and free entry for children accompanied by an adult. The girl guides will have lots of fun games throughout the day all free!

The 2024 Cooma Show Committee are excited about our 148th Annual Cooma Show on the 9th of March 2024. This year’s theme is Carnival Celebration, celebrating 100 years of Bell’s Amusements. The show will be opened at midday by Elwin Bell from Bell’s Amusements.

144th Goulburn Show, 2-3 March 2024

The fun-filled family weekend of exhibits, attractions, and entertainment of the annual Goulburn Show to be held on the 2nd and 3rd of March. This year's theme is FLORA & FAUNA! So get your thinking caps on and start creating something wonderful for your pavilion entries.

Students take out most successful cattle award at Henty

Represented by 11 students and eight head of YAHS school cattle, as well as five Angledoon animals, Yanco Agricultural High School took out the most successful cattle exhibitor at the recent Henty Show. They competed in the junior judging where they all participated in judging steers.

Milton Park takes home the prize

For many years the Blue Cow Hotel at Allora has sponsored the Supreme Ewe and Ram of the Allora Show. This year the award went to Milton Park Suffolk and White Suffolk Stud from Hendon.

86th Comboyne Show, 2-3 March 2024

Known variously as County Fairs, or State Fairs, Agricultural Shows have been a rural tradition world-wide since the first one was held in England by the Salford Agricultural Society in Lancashire in 1768. Agricultural Shows have been happening in Australia since the nineteenth Century, and around 580 (around 185 in NSW) occur every year, bringing fun, education and entertainment to urban and rural communities. This year 2024 will be the 86th Comboyne Show, with the first one having been held in 1933.
