Our show attracts from near and far

Recent stories

The Allora Show Society is happy with the success of the 2024 Show, which produced strong numbers in many sections.

President Shirley Cornhill said the show was well supported from far and wide.

Mrs Cornhill described the Stud and Prime Cattle sections as “terrific” as were entries in the horse sections.

The Dog section was very strong with well over 400 dogs.

Mrs Cornhill said the poultry classes were well supported and the Pet Show, very good.

She was impressed with the number of photography entries and the 91 entries in the revived Honey section.

She enjoyed the fireworks, smash-up derby and bike entertainment on Saturday night and found the kids’ egg-and-spoon races amusing.
