Newsletter

As Australian Rural & Regional News has grown, so too have our newsletters.

For some time, we sent out one or two newsletters on the weekend with a selection of stories from the week past. They just got bigger and bigger.

We now have more than enough news and stories coming in every day during the week, from the independent publishers across Australia that contribute to Australian Rural & Regional News and from our own writers and contributors, to warrant more regular updates.

So, over the first half of 2024, we trialled five updates a week to see how they would be received. They went OK, but with a few issues, and I think we can do better.

From July 2024, dear readers, we’re adding the option for more themed and targeted newsletters.

Now you can subscribe to receive all newsletters, or select one or more of these once a week newsletters: Contributing publishers’ issues & stories; Politics & Opinion; Business & Farming;
Life & Arts

Subscribers can do this from the Manage your Subscription page. More themed newsletters (such as sport of course!) may launch in due course.

 On this, and on all that we do, your feedback is always welcome.

As always, all the stories that have come in over the current and previous week can be found by browsing through the Home page.

Or you can go straight to the Politics & Opinion, Business & Farming, NewsLife & Arts, Racing & Sport and Reviews & Releases pages for the latest and earlier stories in these categories.

In a world where there is so much competition for our attention, Australians continue to read, and we continue to read books written by Australians.
