Clayton Wilkinson and Harry Kilburn will be swimming for victory this week in the 2024 Australian Age Swimming Championships at the Gold Coast. The boys train seven times a week with coach Shannon Comerford as part of the Casino Swimming Club.

At the 2023 Donald Show Jacob Donnellon was awarded the Junior Rural Ambassador Award, which enabled him to compete at the Wimmera Group final of the competition held in Dimboola on March 15 ... The final question asked of the contestants was: “How would you get more people to volunteer at your show?” Jacob’s response was spot on; all in the crowd sat nodding their head in agreement.

KAP calls out LNP to show their hand on bush sentencing: Katter
If the recent Local Government election results have shown us anything, it’s that Queenslanders want change from the status quo, Katter’s Australian Party (KAP) Leader and Traeger MP Robbie Katter has said. “The LNP seem to think they’re a shoo-in, but as the true Opposition in North Queensland we are calling them out as being a void of policy,” Mr Katter said. Mr Katter said he was pleased the KAP youth crime policy, which he had advocated for seven years, is resonating well with the wider community, and was now calling on the State LNP to commit to the North-Queensland born idea of Relocation Sentencing.
New pump track among busy works program for Council
Narrandera Shire Council’s brand new pump track in Marie Bashir Park is now open and ready for riders of all ages and skill levels. The pump track features smooth, flowing berms and rollers, varied terrain for beginners to advanced riders, a bike-friendly surface that’s easy on tyres as well as nearby parking and amenities.
Ride for youth covers some tough ground

Mackenzie Walch, 18, has only been riding seriously since 2014 but the talented young eventer has just represented her country for the first time ...
