Racing NSW launches Equimillion – A $1 million equestrian event for retired Thoroughbred racehorses
Equimillion will showcase the versatility and suitability of Thoroughbreds for careers outside of racing, with the inaugural event to be held on the October long weekend in 2023. The $1 million plus in prizemoney on offer at Equimillion will be distributed across a range of disciplines and classes in the biggest two-day equestrian event ever to be held in NSW.
Our annual Tullibigeal Picnic Races was another huge success
Racegoers were treated to a wonderful day of perfect weather and family fun. We had Country Racing Icon, Col Hodges calling the race, our grounds were beautiful and green, the race track carefully maintained and our new under cover betting area further improved our annual Tulli Race Meet.
Grafton to host $75000 greyhound race
Emma Pritchard. The Grafton Greyhound Racing Club will host several races in a new feature series worth more than $200000 following a stunning announcement by Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW). Set to become the world’s richest race over a short distance course, The Thunderbolt series will include qualifying heats held at eight regional venues, a semi-final and final.

On Saturday the 5th of March 2022 we held the Tottenham Picnic Races with one of our biggest crowds ever with over 1300 people attending. With the whether looking stormy the races were pushed through quicker than normal. Â With 18 trainers and 10 jockeys being a large number for their fields.

New research funded by AgriFutures Thoroughbred Horses Program and Racing Victoria aims to reduce workplace health risks by changing the way a jockey is monitored after a concussion to better inform their recovery and return to the track.
