Fashions will be a highlight of the day as Tuileries at De Bortoli, Rutherglen are sponsoring the “Lady of the Day “award with a dinner bed and breakfast package. There will also be a Millinery Award package so hopefully all our fans of the latest fashions will be in attendance.

We expect trainers from near and far to nominate their horses, as we have full day’s racing with the 7-race program that should see some of the best local horses in the district vying for the coveted Naughtin Development Corowa Cup. We are expecting one of Australia’s premier jockeys in attendance to present the Cup to the winning connections.

Our canteen will have the usual array of snacks and share platter boxes, for 4 people, available with assorted meats, cheeses, and dips. You can order your boxes by contacting Kathy 0421 158 828.

We have an undercover bookmaker’s ring, TAB, and full bar facilities available on the day with plenty of seating under the wonderful shady trees and shade sails. The grounds have been manicured to perfection and the track is at it’s very best.

The weather should be perfect, and we have entertainment by the local Corowa dynamic duo Toucan Rock. Yarrawonga Party Palace will have a free jumping castle for the kids, they will also have snow cones for sale to help keep them cool.

The gates will open at 11:30am and entry fee is $15 for adults, $10 pensioners, and children under 16 free.

Why not make it a fabulous weekend of entertainment in the Corowa-Rutherglen area, with plenty of events both before and after the races, and the following day. We look forward to seeing you on what at our premier race day for the season.
