However, before farmers rush to the tractor, it's crucial to understand the vast differences between Europe's agricultural sector and Australia's ... This is what happens when farmers get into bed with government and take their coin.   It’s a lesson we should learn.

147th Walcha Show, 8-9 March 2024

The Walcha Show will be officially opened at 6.30pm Friday 8 March by Jason Strong, who was a Walcha ‘boy’ and until recently the CEO of Meat & Livestock Australia. Hay Branch of NSW Farmers reactivated

The Hay Branch of NSW Farmers was reactivated at the group’s recent annual general meeting, after several years of inactivity. Geoff Chapman was appointed as president of the local branch, supported by honorary secretary Rowan Houston. NSW Farmers Regional Services Manager Frank Galluzzo said the successful meeting will open up networking and training opportunities.
