GrainGrowers has made it easier for growers to understand greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with the release of a report today that compares available carbon calculators.  GrainGrowers’ General Manager Major Projects and Thought Leadership, Sarah Hyland, said the report was designed to improve carbon literacy among grain growers.

The winner of the dairy cattle young  paraders  competition will be determined by who has best prepared, presented and paraded their animal before a judge.

A man is due in Joondalup Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 25 after being charged in relation to damage caused to a Western Power transmission tower in Pinjar, which was detected in April last year. WA Police will allege the man attended the site where the tower was standing on April 20, 2023 and caused sufficient damage to the tower to cause it to collapse.

The figures are in, and the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder (CEWH) delivered the second highest amount of water for the environment on record, in 2023-24. The CEWH, Dr Simon Banks, said around 1800 gigalitres of commonwealth water for the environment had been used to maintain or improve conditions in river and wetland systems across the Murray–Darling Basin.
