MP verdict shock

Jess Liddy. Narungga MP Fraser Ellis was found guilty on four charges of deceit in the Adelaide Magistrates Court yesterday (Monday, July 1). Mr Ellis faced 23 charges of deception in relation to improperly claiming the Country Members Accommodation Allowance from April 2018 to June 2020 ... Outside of court, Mr Ellis said he was surprised by the verdict. "I did not expect the outcome," Mr Ellis said.

Reuther in SACA side to tour India

Reuther and the other 12 team members are programmed to play six matches over two weeks later this month. Stimson pleads “not guilty”

A 26 year-old man from near Bordertown has pleaded “not guilty” to the murder of Lucindale police officer Brevet Sergeant Jason Doig. Brevet Sergeant Doig was responding to a call at Senior, around 20 kms north of Bordertown, when he was shot and killed.

New artworks breaking out

Across the past two weeks, Mr Swales has brought his love for the coast onto Main Street, Warooka by creating two enormous murals at the hotel and the Ballara Art and Lifestyle Retreat.

South Australian forestry industry to frame up new technical colleges: Scriven, Boyer

South Australian-sourced timber will form the backbone of two of the state’s new technical colleges – simultaneously reducing the carbon impact of the construction work and supporting the state’s $3 billion forestry industry ... new technical colleges at Tonsley and Mount Gambier will both be constructed with timber sourced from Timberlink Australia’s new $70 million NeXTimber manufacturing facility at Tarpeena in the state’s south east.
