Crowdfunding to house Easter bunnies bringing joy to women healing from domestic violence

Recent stories

Tennant Creek Women’s Refuge provides vital support for women escaping domestic violence; in many cases, these women and children have had to leave behind treasured possessions or much-loved pets.

Recently the Refuge was gifted three baby rabbits, which were unfortunately orphaned when their mother died, and are looking to build a suitable enclosure that will ensure the long-term well-being of these delightful little rabbits and bring some smiles and joy to Refuge clients.

They already have volunteers lined up to build the enclosure, but the Refuge needs your help too.

They have started a GoFundMe page to raise the money for the building materials.

Your contribution, no matter how small, will play a significant role in making this enclosure a reality for these orphaned rabbits.

Keep your eyes open in the near future for a competition to name these three cuties, who are all little girls. These rabbits will not only bring an extra sense of peace to those escaping violence but also serve as a source of joy and healing for the Refuge clients, reminding them of the beauty and innocence in the world.

If you wish to make a contribution to the materials, you can access the Go-FundMe here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/refuge-rabbits
