Matthew smashes his own pb

It’s been an amazing week for Matthew Denny at the Oklahoma Throws Series World International. With a mammoth throw of 74.78cm and his personal best Matthew would have broken the previous World Record if not for his main rival Mykolas Alekna who threw 75.56m.

Watercolour workshop a wonderful evening

A watercolour workshop recently hosted by Heidi Jane Illustrations at the Wheatsheaf Store in East Greenmount proved to be a great evening for those in attendance. Organiser Heidi said the ladies enjoyed an evening of creativity and meeting new people plus a delicious meal served.

Bore no more soon in Vale View

An additional 100 homes in the Vale View area of the Toowoomba Region will soon be connected to the Bulk Water Supply network, meaning the existing bore will no longer be needed.

Land valuations rise across region

Toowoomba Region Mayor Geoff McDonald has allayed fears of a large increase in their Council rates following the release of land valuations last week.
