Ex Tropical Cyclone Lincoln has certainly made its presence felt around Tennant Creek over the weekend with close to 200mm of rain falling over the two days.
Coming only a few weeks after the last decent falls it did not take long for the rain to create hazards for motorists and for there to be plenty of standing water on the roadsides.
Lake Mary Ann is definitely full and over the spillway and Seven Mile Creek was flowing fast and furious.
Those travelling are reminded to check road reports and be aware that there may be damage, repair crews and water that will affect driving conditions, so drive to conditions.
It won’t be long before the bushland turns on a gorgeous display of growth that only happens during the Big Wet.
