The Allora Regional Sports Museum held another one of their popular Long Lunches at the Commercial Hotel on Friday.
Queensland State of Origin Legends Shane Webcke, Trevor (the Axe) Gillmeister and Ben Ikin entertained the crowd with plenty of good football yarns including the many tricks played by Alfie Langer on his mates.
Guest MC was former State and International Referee and Award winning author and journalist Bernie Premberg. Mayor of the Toowoomba Regional Council Geoff McDonald told a few of his own football stories while speaking with Ben Ikin, now the CEO of Queensland Rugby League.
Funds raised from the luncheon aid the Allora Regional Sports Museum.
