Twenty-three horses and riders tackled the WA Endurance Riders Association Denmark ride on Saturday, May 4.
The ride base was on private property on Mt Lindesay Road and riders tackled distances ranging from 12-80km on local roads and forest tracks.
Despite the downpour, the competitors and their horses enjoyed the technical course and scenery.
Eight entrants rode the 80km course while one rode 60km, five 40km, seven 20km and two 12km.
Rebecca Dell and Glenda Andrews from Narrikup and Albany rode the 20km and Sarah Shanahan and Bonnie Martin, both from Denmark, rode the 40km.
The number of competitors was much reduced this year due to the cost of fuel/cost of living but participants had a great event.
The association appreciates the volunteers who made the event a success.
