There was a blue sky, low temperatures and a cool breeze for Cairn Curran Sailing Club on Saturday 6 July, when this glorious photo was taken. The reservoir was aflutter with local sails for its Winter Series Club Race, which also included members of the Impulse Sailing Association who were visiting for a two-day training session.

Mr Robinson told On Our Selection News his sister-in-law Stephanie, a teacher from New South Wales, is a regular visitor to the zoo, visiting during the school holidays over the past 20 years for a total of over 80 visits.

Council could be up for millions in legal fees to defend NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal NCAT proceedings against more than 100 semi-permanent caravan owners, claims the group. Owners of 136 holiday vans at 4 Council managed caravan parks situated on Crown Land at Brooms Head, Iluka, Minnie Water, and Wooli were sent letters in early March advising of the termination of long-term (casual occupation) agreements on June 30, 2025.

Too many compromises says Cr
Patricia Gill. Shire councillor Aaron Wiggins described the approval of 15 tiny cabins on Raintree Estate as 'too many compromises' without getting the best result for the community. Cr Wiggins moved the motion to approve the development 'en bloc' of five separate lots, at the June 24 Denmark Shire Council meeting. Though he moved the motion, he was against it.
Tiny cabins next big thing
Patricia Gill. Fifteen short-stay 'tiny house cabins', or holiday chalets, have been given the green light for Raintree Estate on South Coast Highway. The caravan-size chalets, which can be moved, will be placed on five locations on the farm and the development includes a manager's residence south of The Dam restaurant also on Raintree Farm.
