Supply Nation’s Indigenous Business Trade Fair opens Wednesday 9 April on the lands of the Tubba-Gah people of the Wiradjuri Nation in Thubbo (Dubbo).
To be held at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre, the Trade Fair will showcase around 60 Indigenous businesses with over 350 registered attendees including corporate and government buyers looking to source products and services from verified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander suppliers.
Exhibitors at the Dubbo Trade Fair represent a wide variety of industries including construction, transport and logistics, education and training, business support services and recruitment, food and beverages, energy, information technology, design and facilities management. Part of a national series, the event follows highly successful events in Perth and Canberra over the last six months.
“Dubbo is a key hub for regional manufacturing and logistics, with a strong presence of Indigenous-owned businesses. It made total sense to focus on Dubbo for our next regional Trade Fair, offering the opportunity to showcase high-quality products and services to buyers beyond of the major metropolitan areas,” said Damien Barnes, Co-Chair, Supply Nation Board.
“We have some fantastic local businesses exhibiting their ranges of skincare, photography, therapeutic services, mentoring and cultural support, health and safety certifications, and logistics and security. The Trade Fair has also attracted business from other regional centres including Tamworth, Orange and Taree, which is great to see, and we value this support for our events.”
