Ben Hawke, Lord Howe Island Signal

To our many friends –

The great Tomo peacefully weighed anchor from Mosman Bay for the final time early yesterday afternoon surrounded by his family at home.

Born in Katowice Poland, he lived a grand life, sailed many miles, had many great adventures and brought inspiration and a positive light to all that graced his path.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday the 6th of August at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium, Northern chapel at 11.15 am, followed by a celebration.

Our sincere condolences to the families of Michal Tomaszewski. He was a regular visitor to the Island and was the architect for the Lord Howe Island Museum.
