Many memories were made at the Upper Forest Springs School which was on the corner of Forest Springs Road and The Springs Road.

Opened as a Provisional School in 1898 it then became the Upper Forest Springs School in 1909, closing in 1961.

The actual school building can now be found at the Highfields Pioneer Village near Toowoomba.

Inside the Allora Advertiser today [8 July 2026] we take a trip down memory lane and look inside the school.
