The much-anticipated Dorrigo Show is returning this year, promising a weekend packed with family-friendly entertainment, thrilling competitions, and a celebration of local culture. Set on the picturesque Dorrigo Plateau, the event will take place on November 22nd and 23rd, drawing visitors from across the region to enjoy everything this longstanding country show has to offer.
This year’s show will feature a variety of attractions, including the popular animal exhibits, showcasing livestock, horses, and poultry, alongside demonstrations from local farmers and producers. Visitors can expect an impressive lineup of agricultural displays, where award-winning livestock and poultry will take centre stage, competing for top honours.
For those looking for something more adventurous, the action-packed woodchopping competition is a crowd favourite not to be missed. In addition, the show will host a series of fun activities, from the ever-popular side-show alley with rides and games, to the newly added 3 Kids vs 3 Sheep and Dog High Jump competition. As usual our spectacular fireworks display on Saturday night promises to light up the sky.
Local artists and craftspeople will also be showcasing their works in the pavilion, offering visitors a chance to see unique handmade goods. And for food lovers, a diverse range of stalls will serve up delicious local produce, from hearty BBQs to homemade treats, pizza, pasta, twisted potatoes and so much more.
