Students from Ampilatwatja school have been fine tuning their tee-ball and softball skills with Barkly Region Sports Coordinator recently.
Younger students concentrated on their catching and throwing with a glove whilst the older students concentrated on batting, base running and stealing bases. All skills were put to a test when a combined classes game was played on the last day with some fantastic skills displayed.
The Arlpara Police visited and were keen to be involved in playing softball and are looking forward to returning every week to participate in physical activity with the school students.

The girls are looking forward to the Barkly Region Southern Softball Cup being held in Ampilatwatja where they hope to hold the championship cup high above their heads.
