Jaydyn recapped how his passion began at the Barham Public School which had a set of sport stacks. “I wonder if they still have them?” he pondered.
The speed and gentle accuracy of cup stacking amazed spectators. Jaydyn shared his experience of travelling overseas, how the sport has developed to online competition and how the sport has grown since he first started.
The Barham visit was an effort to make a sad situation enjoyable, with the funeral of Jaydyn’s great grandmother held earlier in the week.
Jaydyn and his mother Rachel are doing their best to grow the sport in Australia, including school visits, and are the official promotor of World Sport Stacking Association competitions in Australia.
Jaydyn competed in 43 tournaments during 2021; his scorecard is filled with first or second place rankings. How will 2022 be for him?
