The Wondai AP & I Society (est. 1911) has pleasure in announcing the program for the up and coming Wondai Show.
Friday 27 August
8.00am – Championship Dog Show
9.00am – Pavilion judging (closed to the public)
5.00pm – Stud Beef Cattle Young Judges, Paraders & Schools
(BBQ will be operating at the Cattle Area)
Saturday 28 August
Early Low & Slow cooking firing up in the main ring
Breakfast from 6.30am
8.30am – Judging of dogs, horses, stud beef cattle, dairy cattle and poultry commences
Free Entertainment for Patrons
9.00am- Pavilion, Side Shows & Trade Displays open
Display of antique tractors & stationary engines
Working Arts & Crafts Display under Grandstand
Animal Nursery & Face Painting
9.30am – Chain Saw Racing commences in centre ring
Show & Shine exhibits by main gate ready for voting 10.00am
Free Rock Climbing Wall & Trampoline Bungee
Racing Lawn Mowers
10.30am – Big Trucks Judging
12.00pm – Judging Ute Muster
12.00pm – Wondai Town & District Band
1.00pm – Official Opening by Angus Lane
2.30pm – Grand Parade
3.15pm – Official Afternoon Tea for invited guests
4.00pm – Pavilion Entries & prize money ready for collection
4.00pm – Chainsaws Stihl v Husqvana in front of Grandstand
5.00pm – St John’s Whip Cracking Team
6.00pm – Bull Ride round 1
7.00pm – Fire Works
7.30pm – Bull Ride round 2
8.30pm till late – Smoke & Dust Band with Amber Goldsmith
