Council commits to Stawell gift

Northern Grampians Shire Council has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the Stawell Gift, signing a significant four-year partnership agreement with Stawell Gift Event Management afternoon that will see the council invest $400,000 in the prestigious Australian athletics carnival over the next four years.

Maddy Black and Evie Mackenzie participated in netball tours to the UK and New Zealand respectively, and both have said their trips developed their netball skills as well as wider personal development.

Oarsome to be rowing on Clarence River again

Young speedway racer competes in national junior titles tonight

Jamie Jones, a Junior Sedan driver from Tennant Creek Speedway, is currently competing in the 2024 SSA Junior Sedan National Titles in Grafton, New South Wales. The finals will be held tonight at the Grafton Speedway, where Jamie will be racing alongside 76 other juniors from across Australia.

Pilots gather for laidback event

The Corryong Cup Hang Gliding Competition 2024 concuded on the weekend with 65 pilots attending from all over Australia and Norway, Germany, Austria and Ireland.
