Dunoon United has a women’s Premier League team for the first time in the club’s 32-year-history. The prems team took to the field at the end of March to kick off their historic season, and everyone is right behind them as they represent our community at the highest level in the local leagues.
We also have a women’s 4th division team this season, and teams in the men’s 5th and 6th divisions. They would all love your support, so head on down when they have home games, and perhaps grab a drink and a feed at the Sports Club while you’re there.

Junior and miniroos football
Our junior and miniroos teams are taking shape, but we still have a few spots available. In the juniors, the following teams are looking for players:
- 12s mixed
- 12s girls
- 13s mixed
- 15s girls

Gala day
Young players from across the region will descend on Dunoon on May 31 for the DUFC 2026 Miniroos Gala Day. Mixed and girls’ teams aged from 7 to 11 will take to the field at Balzer Park, in what promises to be a fantastic day of family fun.

Committee
DUFC has a great committee for 2026. Thank you to all our committee members – old and new – for stepping up to bring football to the community.
One key volunteer position that still needs to be filled is that of canteen manager. It’s a part-time role that might suit a club parent, a retiree, or anyone else who has some availability at weekends and who would enjoy the social side of running our canteen – which provides important income for the club as well as a service for our members and visitors.
