The much-loved LisAmore Italian Festival is set to return in 2026, bringing a vibrant celebration of Italian culture, food and music to the Northern Rivers.
This year’s event will be held on Sunday, 5 July 2026, with an exciting new home at the Lismore Showgrounds, reflecting the festival’s continued growth and popularity.
LisAmore has become a standout event on the region’s calendar, celebrating the rich contribution of Italian migrants and their families to the local community.
Lismore Friendship Festival Inc President Gianpiero Battista said the festival is a celebration of both heritage and community connection.
“LisAmore is a true migration success story. Generations of Italians came to this region in search of opportunity and a better life, and their legacy continues to shape our community today.”
“The heart of LisAmore is sharing – sharing food, music, stories and culture. It’s about bringing people together and celebrating what it means to be Italian, or at least feel Italian for a day!”
This year’s attendees can expect a lively program of authentic Italian cuisine, live music, and cultural experiences designed to immerse visitors in the spirit of Italy.
The event is made possible thanks to the support of local partners and sponsors, including the North Coast National A&I Society, Lismore City Council, Marconi Club, Multicultural NSW, Invercauld House, the Ferrari and Ducati Club Brisbane, The Lismore App, Ramada Ballina, Balloon Aloft, Summerland Bank, Chris Albertini Automotive and Frank Vanz Lismore Tyre Company.
