Shire of Nannup, Media Release, 17 July 2025

It’s here again! After another year of dedicated planning and hard work, the Flower and Garden Committee has once again delivered an engaging and educational event. With generous support from sponsors, key speakers, and community partners, the committee continues to grow the event’s impact and appeal each year. They also coordinate their many community volunteers and are assisted and supported by the Shire of Nannup and their Parks and Gardens team.

Whether you’re a seasoned green thumb or simply love the beauty of winter gardens, this festival is your perfect escape. Wander through the Golden Wattle Arts Trail and Blue Wren Garden Trail, explore vibrant market stalls, and soak up the serene beauty of the Blackwood River.

But the real magic lies in the workshops! Learn from gardening legends like Sophie Thomson, Sabrina Hahn, and Paul West, or dive into hands-on sessions with local artists like Thelma who’ll guide you through recycled art, drawing, and free-motion stitching.

With over 80 events on offer, there’s something for everyone—from permaculture and propagation to botanical art, sustainable living and cooking!

So why not make it a getaway? Invite your friends, book a cozy stay, and immerse yourself in the warmth of Nannup’s community spirit.
