The Women Changing the World Awards, presented by Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and Dr. Tererai Trent, were held in London and honour women who have made significant global impacts across various sectors including sustainability, humanitarian work, leadership, and innovation.
Robyn’s work in regional communities focuses on dismantling biases and creating opportunities for women and girls, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to thrive. Her recognition at this international event highlights the importance and impact of her work in agriculture and community development.
Robyn expressed her excitement and gratitude for the award, stating, “It’s like the Duchess said, women need to have their voices heard and not be silent whispers. Mine is one voice that can change and impact the lives of many, we have to keep talking.”
Dr. Tererai Trent, a notable advocate for women’s empowerment, emphasised the significance of these awards: “These exceptional women are here to awaken hearts, give permission to recapture dreams and inspire the women of the world to come together to forge a brighter path for all.
