Year 9/10 Media Class, Corryong Courier

On Tuesday Corryong College held its annual Tough Mudder and Colour Run. This was the first time the event had been held for four years due to disruptions like Covid-19.

The course was designed by Claudia McKimmie’s Year 9/10 fun and fitness class and had more than ten different stations including the water slide, the ice bath, silage bails, hay bale climb, mazes, hill climb and barbed-wire crawl.

The class also ran the event throughout the day.

A special thank you goes to Forest Fire Management Victoria which hosed down the bank to make it slippery and even more challenging for students. The water slide was a crowd favourite and Riley Bloom said “the water slide was awesome”. Paige Heinjus said “the best part about the day was being able to get mud all over you and not get in trouble”.

There was also a sausage sizzle and Edward Miranda mentioned “I got a sausage for free, you just wait until they become free!”
