Protea Place is open for service in Warwick

Recent stories

This week sees the opening of a wonderful Support Centre for Women.

Located at 37 Guy Street Warwick Protea Place welcomes vulnerable women who may be experiencing homelessness or disadvantage.

The focus of Protea Place Warwick is on delivering Dignity Services such as lunch, showers, laundry, clothing and toiletries along with information and referral where possible.

Protea Place is not a specialised DFV Service and does not provide accommodation. Even though women with children are assisted, due to the space and model of Protea Place they don’t have children on site.

Front line Workers and Services are encouraged to pop in, have a cuppa, meet the staff and see the site.

The Centre is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 2pm with lunch at 12 noon.
