Since its beginnings in 2013, the NDIS has helped many people with disabilities all around Australia to live fuller lives, but like any long term program, it sometimes needs to be reviewed to ensure that it is still able to meet the needs and expectations of the community.

The review of the NDIS was announced late last year, and this week, members of the review team were in Tennant Creek to speak with participants and carers in an effort to gain feedback about their experiences with the NDIS and to ensure any changes to the program are made with the participants needs are central to the program going forward.

The session at the Hub was productive, with the team listening to concerns and comments from those who attended, which will help the team in their review.
