113th Mundulla Show, 3-5 March 2023

This year will be the 113th Show which started back in 1913 with no shows in 1943-1945.

This year also coincides with Mundulla Township turning 150 in April so we are starting celebrations early.

Entries now open for all sections of the show with very good prizes & prize money – details of how to enter are on website with links to online entry.

Program of events

Friday 3rd – Welcome to Mundulla  – no charge for spectators

Showjumping starts at 8am

Cobb & Coach ride from Mundulla to Buckingham Church will leave Mundulla Hotel at 10am (this is already fully booked) but will be a great sight for anyone to see.

Evening meals available at Mundulla Bowling Club or Mundulla Hotel (bookings recommended at Hotel).

Saturday 4th  (main show day)

Highlights

  • Opening of Show by Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of SA –
  • Mr OOpy Childrens & Bubble show – Free
  • Bunyip Trail – free for children
  • Restored Vehicles & Motorbikes will line Kennedy Street
  • Cobb & Co Coach rides around the township
  • Woodchopping –
  • Axe Tossing & Chainsaw critters (carving)
  • Barrel Races early evening (time to be confirmed) – Memorial Event for two very special cowgirls – Macey Inglis & Rachel Harris(flyer attached)
  • Riders Reunion in evening for all past & present riders, and interested public.

Sunday 5th – on program – free entry

Special events for this year

  • Sheaf tossing
  • Hunter Events – horses
  • Fox terrier races
  • Old time sports day – all welcome to participate 

Saturday – plenty of food & tradesites, Bush bar open from 12pm until late

Sunday – free day for everyone with plenty going on – Final day for Yard Dogs & Stockmans Challenge, Food vans & Bush Bar will be open as well.

Camping available for all entrants!
