A call for new members from local Aboriginal Alliance

Recent stories

The Barkly Aboriginal Alliance, a self-governing body which gives a voice to all Indigenous people in the Barkly, is looking for new members to join them.

The Alliance seeks to create a better future for all communities in the region with their vision being that “Homelands and Communities in the Barkly are self-determining and thriving”.

Anyone who lives on a Homeland or Community is welcome to join and help in not just empowering communities, but also protecting and preserving culture and country while making sure that Homelands are central to decision making processes.

If you, or anyone you know want to be a part of this important group, get in touch with Warren H. Williams on warren@ barklybackbone.com.au.
