Woodstock Memorial Show, 4 September 2022

The show provides the community with the opportunity to reflect on its values and aspirations; celebrate achievements ranging from excellence in prime lamb breeding to the beauty of a delicate piece of embroidery; and enjoy a break from the routine of everyday life.

Mount Morgan Show, 13 August 2022

The annual Mount Morgan Show is being held on 13 August 2022 and the committee is urging all interested persons to get behind the event to ensure it is as successful as the 2021 Show which was hailed as a great community event.

Southern Downs Poultry Club recently staged their popular Annual Poultry Show and Treaty at the Allora Showgrounds. Exhibitors and interested parties came from many parts of Queensland as well as New South Wales.

2022 Rabobank WA Sheep Expo & Ram Sale to help promote working dog pay rise! 18-19 August 2022

Given the high escalation in the price of pedigree pups, pay rises are certainly well overdue for dogs who are renowned for being the hardest workers. A Working Dog Auction being held at the 2022 Rabobank Expo & Ram Sale should help push up purchase prices ... Known as the largest Merino event in Western Australia with over forty studs on display, the addition of a working sheepdog auction will boost visitor numbers to the annual show.

The Australian Sheep and Wool show was held at Bendigo on the weekend after a two year hiatus due to Covid-19. The three-day event did attempt to run in 2021, but a snap lockdown saw producers caught out with stock already on site for the show. Wakool stud ram producer, Guy Treweek of Induro White Suffolks, said it was great to be back.

Chief Minister enjoys a day out at the Show

There may have been dramas aplenty, but in true Tennant style, a brand new committee successfully brought back one of the major events of the year – our local Show ... There were still plenty of rides, food stands, sideshows and showbags to be had, as well as government stands, lots of free range politicians, including the Chief Minister, Natasha Fyles, who officially opened the Show, and market sellers with a range of goods.

The annual Dayboro Show is back! Celebrating 65 years of the “Best little country show”, the 2022 event held on July 2nd and 3rd will include a bit of boot scootin’, horse whispering, wood-chopping and farm-tastic fun.

50th Kununurra Show, 8-9 July 2022

Kununurra Agricultural Show is held each July. This vibrant and unique  community event has been running since 1972 (we're turning 50!) ​and is a great addition to the  East Kimberley  experience bucket list.​​

Texas Show, 30-31 July 2022

Dougal Finlay. When winter frosts arrive, it heralds that special time on our calendar to catch up with friends, renew acquaintances and generally have a great time at our annual Texas Show. Continued above average rainfall has delivered mixed fortunes to people in the district since our last show. The Texas Show was only one of seven country shows to go ahead in Queensland last year which highlights the determination our community holds to preserve our institution and keep it running well into the future.

Mackay Show, 14-16 June 2022

This year's show will feature Melvilles Animal Farm and Duck Racing as part of the free entertainment.  The arena will feature Ashtons Globe of Death along with Walter Whip.   The fireworks are on at 7pm & 9pm on Tuesday and 9pm on Wednesday.

Start getting excited for some adrenaline pumping fun, because the Rockhampton Agricultural Show has announced its entertainment line-up! “Along with our entertainment line-up make sure you don’t miss viewing the outstanding competition entries in the pavilions. The horse show jumping and competitions will again be a major drawcard in Centre Ring with late entries for horses being accepted on the day” : Cr Ellen Smith.

The main event, the three-day show, will this year take place on the 24th, 25th and 26th of June which is the first weekend of the school holidays – perfect timing for families from afar to plan a trip to the Atherton Tablelands.  

St Heliers Heavy Horse Field Days 2022 cancelled due to weather

The St Heliers Heavy Horse Field Days have regrettably had to be cancelled due to wet weather and the condition of the grounds being unfit for the show.
