The 2022 Eyre Peninsula Field Days’ committee is very excited to be able to welcome both visitors and exhibitors back to Cleve.

After having had to cancel due to Covid in 2020 it is good to return to some form of normality.

The committee and many volunteers have worked very hard since the last event to maintain and improve the facilities for you to enjoy. As you will notice some exhibitors have not returned but there are also some new ones. A lot can happen in four years. The world is a little different to what it was, however life goes on and we need to enjoy it and appreciate that which we have.

The field days is a great opportunity to catch up with friends and also to keep abreast of, not only, the latest in farming and technology, but also lifestyle, education, grain marketing and every other aspect of living in the country.

As for entertainment; we have Sophie Thomson on gardening, along with school bands, Artyculture and fashion parades, speakers on decluttering, cyber security and Thermomix demos.

Outdoors, the Yellow Brick Road has been replaced the EP Trail. Black Snake Productions and Wildlife will be displaying some of our native animals and giving four talks per day.

Adelaide University plan to showcase their Children’s University for children aged seven to 15 so it will be worth visiting their site. Children will need to bring their school “Passport to Learning” in order to record learning activities done at the field days.

The committee would like to thank all of the exhibitors who put in so much effort to display their wares and share their knowledge. They do such a great job. Without them we would not have a field day. Thanks also to the caterers who go the extra mile to keep us sustained. They provide a variety of food and drinks to satisfy most tastes and appetites.

Thank you for attending. We hope you enjoy our 2022 field days at Cleve and look forward to seeing you all again in 2024.

Safe travels,

Geoff Bammann
Eyre Peninsula Field Days’ President
