Stewart Bryant’s whip cracking show will be a hit with many as he entertains in a fun way with stock whips and his trusty horse.

Showday will see the Showground at Ganmain come alive with all the regular Showtime attractions. Sideshow Alley and market stalls will fill the outside space with an all-new Lifestyle Pavilion filling the new indoor space constructed since the last show held in 2019.

It is anticipated the displays of Arts and Crafts, Photography, Cooking, Flowers and Farm Produce as well as the School displays will fill the available space in the Main Pavilion.

Animals will also have a strong representation with Horses, Championship dogs, Sheep and Poultry all on display. Working Dogs will also be in action in the newly constructed yards specially built for the Yard dog events.

The Showgirl/ Young Woman Competition is always a crowd favorite which will follow the Quickshear finals.

The Interschool Young Auctioneer competition will also return with the first heat having already been run in the participating Schools from across the Riverina. The second heat will be on at 11.00am at the Sheep pavilion with the Final to take to the main stage after the Showgirl competition.

Motorised Esky racing will be another Highlight late in the afternoon featuring some local talent to keep show patrons engaged in the activities of the day.

Sponsors are a major part of holding such an event, Ganmain Show Society is most appreciative of all businesses and individuals who have donated in any way. Special mention goes to NSW Government and Beyond Bank for coming on board as our major sponsors for 2022.

I must congratulate the dedicated team of volunteers and Committee members who have been able to work together to make the 2022 Show a possibility.

A big thank you goes out to all the community members both local and the wider area who make the Ganmain Show a “must do” event. Community support makes any event a success which drives the committee to continue striving to bring a quality event to our community.

Gates open early for competitors and general admission, animal events are in progress all morning then spend the afternoon soaking up the atmosphere with all the other entertainment and finish the day with the fireworks lighting up the evening sky.

Looking forward to another successful Ganmain Show.
