Make sure to visit the Newstead Arts Hub this February to see a collection of portraits taken by local Anglican Church Reverend Darcy Vaughan. The exhibition, open during the weekends, tackles issues of social isolation and how our communities function when faced with anxiety and uncertainty.

Nancy Whittaker. The MANet upcoming IBHuman Portrait Prize exhibitions are to be held at the EDGE Gallery. The Painting, Drawing and Mixed Media finalists exhibition will be held from 5-13 February and Photography Finalists will be held from 19 – 27 February.

Born and bred local Efsta Konidaris’ newest hobby has been taking the Barkly by storm! The keen mountain biking local is well known for her businesses Tennant Creek Emporium and Total Sports, and it was by chance on a ride she took a photo with her phone and the social media reception went viral.

A stunning snapshot of apiculture has taken out first place in the 2021 National #AgDayAU Photo Competition. This year, the competition received a record number of awe-inspiring entries, all capturing the many diverse agricultural careers right across the country.

A collaboration of art and photography is featured in Julianne Gosper’s intricate detailed paintings of amazing birds and animals and the ethereal photography of Brian McGrath. “Artography” will be exhibited at the Old Kirk, Yamba Museum from Friday November 26 to Thursday December 23, 2021 ... Julianne Gosper is a Clarence Valley based artist who has had a lifelong fascination with the natural world ... Photographer Brian (Dino) McGrath spent his initial childhood years in the small town of Harden/Murrumburrah in the Riverina Region of NSW.
