Despite contacting the usual suspects who may have owned this panel van in the local area, no-one seems to know.
Hopefully, someone will come forth with the answer.
Back in 2002 this Morris Mini Panel Van was discovered by RACQ in Allora and was purchased from a private owner.
The Van was restored to its original condition, including identical paint-work.
The Morris Mini Panel Van was introduced into the RACQ fleet in 1965.
Vehicles like this saw service in the 1974 Brisbane floods.
They were discontinued from the fleet in 1975.
At this Sunday’s Motorfest to be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds the bright yellow Morris Mini Panel Van will be on display along with RACQ’s other vehicles featuring the Club’s historic fleet.
