Barham is currently hosting the inaugural bowls Over 60s State Carnival. The previous format of Over 60s State Championships had 16 bowlers participating. With the new State Carnival event, 750 bowlers with 1,000 entries have made their way to Barham.
Tuesday’s bowling action from cluBarham was close and intense; The skill level was impressive. Spectators enjoyed both the skill on display and the facilities.

cluBarham has become the event’s hub club, with games played at host clubs across the Northern District Playing area – Barham, Cohuna, Gunbower, Kerang, Kerang Golf, Leitchville, Murray Downs and Wakool, with the finals to be held at cluBarham.
The event is also supported by social events at cluBarham, including Tribute to Legends (Elvis and Orbison) held on Monday night, a trivia night with a buffet dinner held on Wednesday, and an SOS ABBA Tribute to be held on Friday evening.
The Over 60s State Carnival will host finals at cluBarham on Sunday, completing seven days of bowling action from around the state.
