Kaniva Day Centre and Nursing Home had a very special visitor this week. This visit was organised by our committed Social Support staff, Susan Hiscock.
Dodge an 11 year old AQHA stallion and therapy horse popped in to visit.

Dodge listed his full name on his Covid test, as MPQ Priority kid, and got the allclear to come in to visit.
Dodge has been working as a registered therapy horse since he was 3 years of age, and with his team of helpers, led by Jayde, provided great fun and entertainment for all.
Dodge has worked at a number of hospitals, nursing homes and NDIS functions in his working career, including the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Dodge even joined a staff meeting with the WWHS Nhill Executive.
Dodge has recently moved to Kaniva and we are sure that he will be back for many more visits to come.
Dodge has his own Facebook page; like and follow him under MPQ Priority Kid.
