Big prizemoney, in excess of $183,000, is on offer during this TAB meeting, and bush horses as well as those further east wanting to have a run will be filling the fields.

The Roma Cup is a great bush event encouraging those in the west of the state to catch up with old friends and spend some time in the Roma community. This helps the region to remain vibrant, to receive an economic boost and thrive on the injected energy of this exciting social event.

Roma Turf Club has always understood and promoted the social value of bush racing providing a welcome break for those in more isolated situations. It also contributes to the sustainability of an industry in regional Queensland that supports not only the local communities but also the bigger industry of racing in Australia, offering entry-level participation and excitement not necessarily available in the city.
