You betcha!
Joan Boardman Sinclair recently celebrated her 90th birthday milestone by saddling up and heading bush with packhorse in tow.
The acknowledged ‘Queen of the High Country’, riding in her father’s stock saddle, still believes the world is a much better place from the back of a horse.
Joan is pure high country bred and has lived and run cattle on her property ‘The Dargals’ since she was a small girl with her father. She took cattle to the high country for their summer grazing for the first time as a nine year old girl and sold her first mob at age 20.
At the age of 90 after losing two husbands and a daughter and living a physically hard life, she still maintains her great zest for whatever life has to offer.
