Australian Hay Mini Nationals continue to grow in numbers and popularity

Recent stories

For more than 50 years, Mini enthusiasts have been flocking to Hay over the June long weekend for three days of fun, bonding and testing their driving skills.

Rally director, Declan Dwyer from Adelaide is pictured leading the parade on Saturday morning, which also included Vanguard and BnS vehicles.

Declan and his wife, Amanda have been the driving force behind the success of the Nationals every year, ensuring that second and third generation enthusiasts continue to head to Hay for the weekend.

The Nationals have been held every year since 1968, except for one cancellation during Covid.

A total of 50 Khana and 24 Heroes entries were received despite the muddy conditions on Saturday.
