As school started back on Tuesday, there has been a noticeable increase in police presence on the roads to ensure the safety of students.
Drivers are reminded to take extra care and watch out for students.
It is important to note that school zone speed limits are now in effect, and drivers must adhere to the posted speed limit of 40kph in the designated areas near schools.
Even the Editor of the Tennant Times was taught a lesson in road rules, copping a $120 fine for failing to stop at the stop sign!
