Kaniva is celebrating the coronation of King Charles III and all royalists are invited to view Kaniva’s royal mob of main street sheep.
The crowns are works of art and have been custom-made for this historic royal occasion by Kaniva Puppet Shop proprietor Julie Finch.
The Kaniva Puppet Shop will be featuring a commemorative window and is also selling London Bus jigsaws, amongst other items.
The Kaniva and District Progress Association is using these displays to create online interest in the town.
The town’s Facebook page has reached 112,000 people in the last 28 days thanks to art tourism promotional posts.
The Overland Museum will also be open on the King’s coronation day, Saturday 6th May, from 11 – 2pm. Cost is $5.00.
