…where was the wind when you need it most?
The sailing season got off to a good start out at Cairn Curran last weekend, with sunny weather and a lake brimming with water. As one Cairn Curran Yacht Club member commented, “A beautiful day for everything except sailing.
The start of the race was delayed for nearly two hours waiting for enough wind to actually move the boats!
However, everyone was very happy to be back on the water, with a full lake making launching and retrieval so much easier. The club is looking forward to a great season.
The lake is full and the surrounding paddocks are green and it looks like a picture.”
