Burton Automotive Hunter Valley Steamfest 2026 is fast approaching, with a packed program set to bring Maitland to life on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April.

Alongside the headline ARTC Rail Program, there’s plenty happening across the city for all-ages. The Maitland Station Precinct will be a hub of activity, featuring live entertainment, market stalls, food vendors and family-friendly experiences, all set against the backdrop of historic rail. On Saturday evening, don’t miss the After Dark experience, with live music, food vendors and the chance to see the steam engines illuminated on-platform until 9pm.

Step back in time at the Steam Rally with traction engines, vintage machinery and heritage displays celebrating the region’s industrial past.
