Quirindi Spring Show 2025: A Weekend of Country Pride, Fun and Community Spirit

The Quirindi Spring Show 2025 is back, running from Friday 12th (12 noon) to Sunday 14th September, with 2 1/2 days of entertainment, competition, and community celebration. This iconic rural event continues to bring together the best of agriculture, country life, and local talent — all set in the heart of the Liverpool Plains.
The show kicks off on Friday 12th September with the ever-popular Cattle Section, where spectators can enjoy a half day of judging and parading of some of the finest and best-prepared cattle in the New England region and beyond, along with skilled young handlers demonstrating their abilities in the ring.
Saturday 13th September is the official Show Day, with exhibitor gates opening at 6:30am and public access from 9:00am. The showgrounds will come alive with a huge range of attractions and activities for all ages, including:
- Horse Ring Events and Show Jumping
- Working Dog Trials
- Camel Racing – fast, fun, and unforgettable
- Fashion on the Field – showcasing local style
- Pavilion Exhibits – arts, crafts, baking, produce and more
- Poultry Displays – with an impressive range of breeds
- Jurassic Jack Experience – meet the dinosaurs
- Wicks Whip Cracking – thrilling skill on display
- Quirindi Spring Markets – local goods, handmade products, and great food
- “Quirindi’s Got Talent” Dance Display – a crowd favourite
- Meat Smoking Demonstration
- Old McDonalds Farm – Children’s Favourite returns
- Wood Chop Contest
- FREE facepainting
- Ooranga Childcare corner and activities
- Amusement Rides, Sideshow Alley, Live Music and Food Trucks

A major highlight of the day will be the Official Opening Ceremony and the announcement of the 2025 Liverpool Plains Young Woman of the Year, a prestigious award that recognises outstanding leadership, community involvement, and personal achievement.
Skin Cancer Van Returns in 2025
Following the positive response in 2024, we’re proud to announce that the Skin Cancer Van will once again be attending this year’s show on both Saturday and Sunday, thanks to generous sponsorship support. This life-saving service offers free skin checks and important sun safety advice — a vital health initiative for our community.
Sunday 14th September: FREE Family Day!
Sunday is a FREE Family Day, offering a more relaxed atmosphere with plenty still to see and do. The horse competitions continue, the Pavilion remains open, and families can enjoy:
The FREE Dog Show – kicking off at 10:00am, open to all pooches and proud owners
The Rotary Club of Quirindi’s Public Speaking Competition – also starting at 10:00am, showcasing the confidence and skill of our local youth and community members
First time Alpaca Parading
