Dayboro, Qld — Families looking for an affordable and action-packed weekend, will find plenty to enjoy when the Dayboro Show returns on Saturday 4 July and Sunday 5 July 2026, celebrating the best of country life, community spirit, and family entertainment.

Across the main show weekend, visitors can enjoy a packed program of entertainment and agricultural displays, with many attractions included in the gate price — making the Dayboro Show one of the region’s best-value family events.

A guaranteed crowd favourite, Lawnmower Racing promises plenty of laughs and fast-paced fun, while the full weekend woodchopping program showcases the strength, skill and
tradition of competitive woodchopping.

Thrill-seekers will enjoy the high-energy Eljay Freestyle Motor X display performing skilful stunts across the weekend.

Saturday night will feature a main arena spectacular, with a comedy show followed by a fireworks display, creating a memorable evening for the whole family. On Sunday, the
excitement continues with the Bull Ride, delivering plenty of adrenaline and action.

Animal lovers will enjoy a range of hands-on rural experiences including the Animal Farm, sheep shearing and herding demonstrations, and the popular dog high jump competition.

Visitors can also experience traditional country skills with camp oven cooking demonstrations.

Equestrian enthusiasts can enjoy the horse events on Saturday and Mini Trots on Sunday, while the poultry pavilion will feature impressive poultry exhibits from local breeders and exhibitors.

Inside the pavilions, visitors will find displays of local produce, baking, crafts and community displays, while the Show Kitchen will be serving delicious, affordable homemade meals throughout the event.

Across the showgrounds there will also be trade sites, food trucks, and plenty of tasty treats to enjoy. For classic show fun, Sideshow Alley will feature rides, games and showbags for
all ages.

With so much included once through the gate, organisers say the Dayboro Show continues to focus on keeping the event affordable and accessible for families.

The Dog Show will be held on Friday 3 July, with free entry for spectators Free on-site parking is available at the showgrounds for visitors.
