Australian Alpaca Association Ltd, South QLD and Northern NSW Region
The South QLD and Northern NSW (SQNNSW) Region of the Australian Alpaca Association has several studs holding Open Farm days during National Alpaca Week, which is being held from 10 – 18 May 2025. The first weekend coincides with Grafton Show, and the alpaca section will have fleece judging on Friday 9 May, with halter/led classes on Saturday 10 May. There will also be an information display on both days.
Jacanda Alpacas at Wallangarra will be open on Saturday and Sunday 10 – 11 May, Wahgungurry Alpacas at Lower Southgate are holding an Open Farm on Mothers Day (11 May), and Kallaroos Alpacas at Kingscliff Nursery will be open the following weekend.
The Australian Alpaca Association is also celebrating 35 years since it was formed in 1990, so we have lots of reasons to celebrate all things alpaca!
