This weekend you can enjoy the attractions and hospitality of Allora. It’s just an easy 15 minute drive north of Warwick and you’ve arrived at the Best little Town on the Downs.

Strolling around Allora

Allora’s two Historical Museums will open this weekend by appointment.

Phone Wendy on 0488 673 778. Next Thursday 25 July the Museum will open from 9am until 2pm.

Also the popular Town and Cemetery tours will conducted on that day and you can book for these by phoning Wendy.

Yarn bombing spectacular at Freestone

Each year the talented people from Freestone put on a magnificent show – they yarn bomb everything in sight – the windmill, toilet, tractor and of course the Hall! This all makes for a display well worth seeing.

On your way from Warwick to Allora this Saturday – travel via Freestone and enjoy a country breakfast between 7.30 ‘til 11am.

Browse around the markets, vintage cars and displays inside and outside the hall throughout the Jumpers & Jazz Festival. Freestone Memorial Hall, 1244 Freestone Road, 15 minutes from Warwick.

Meet the artist

This Sunday Margaret Clinton-Kemp will have an extensive collection of her works and she’s happy to share with you her love for painting and drawing. Call into the Art Market – you may find the perfect piece to take home as a memory of your time in Allora.

Plan to visit the Allora Regional Sports Museum in Herbert Street – there’s plenty to see.
